A 2007 Study at The University of California found positive outcome among youth who regularly attended high-quality afterschool programs, either alone or in combination with varied sets of additional enrichment experiences available in their neighborhoods.
Group lessons are designed to develop the creativity and awareness of each student through learning and related interactions with the teacher and the group’s participants. As a general rule, if group size exceeds 8 students, a teacher’s assistant may be added to aid the teacher.
